After appropriate vocational training as an industrial mechanic IHK/ state certified, from 1999, I worked as a certified mechanical engineer /technical business economist for about 4 years in the design department of Rekers GmbH Maschinen und Anlagenbau in Spelle, Germany. Mostly for the development of parts of the block making plant and also the actual block making machine itself. The day-to-day business included detailed improvements to the version of the block making machine (SFM) at that time, as well as the construction and adaptation of various additional devices on the machine.
This was followed in 2003 by a professional change to Hess Maschinenfabrik in Burbach, Germany,- today Hess group / Topwerk. From 2003 to 2013 I worked for Hess in the design department for the development of various series of block making machines. The RH 600-2, RH1000-2, RH 1500-2/3, RH 2000-2/3 series can be mentioned as highlights of the intensive development work it was responsible for at Hess.
In addition, further design milestones for the concrete block industry were created in these years, such as the oil bath vibrator, the smoothing roller filling carriage, and further optimizations to the machines, which have significantly improved the output and service life of the block machines of Hess.
In 2013, the step towards self-employment took place - Steinkamp GmbH was founded - in order to be able to design and further develop machines as an independent supplier for customers worldwide.
Another major development project for a complete block making machine + system technology was the fundamental new design of the ZN 1500 in 2014, which is now being sold by Zenith Neunkirchen in a modified version.
In 2016, the complete new design of a block making machine +complete plant technology for a manufacturer in South Africa followed - for which our company has been working on a large scale since then. In the years 2016 to 2023, a state-of-the-art, high-performance plant technology was created there - which was designed by our company.
Parallel to all these activities, we repeatedly create technically demanding special solutions for the concrete block manufacturer themselves, in order to solve technical problems that the original manufacturers of the plant technology cannot or do not want to solve.
These special solutions extend to existing machines from all well-known manufacturers such as:
HESS / MASA / HENKE / OMAG / RHINO / SCHLOSSER / ZENITH / REKERS etc.
